Data You Provide

• Barcode values and card names you enter or scan within the app
• Card customization settings such as colors
• Expiration dates you set for coupon cards

Data Collected Automatically

• If you are signed into iCloud, your barcode data is synced across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit service. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to us.

Data We Do Not Collect

• Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
• Your location
• Your usage behavior or analytics
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties

How We Use Your Information

The data you enter in BarcodeWallet is used solely to provide the core functionality of the app:

• Displaying and organizing your saved barcodes
• Syncing your barcodes across your Apple devices via iCloud
• Sending local expiration notifications for coupon cards
• Generating Apple Wallet passes from your barcode data

iCloud & CloudKit

BarcodeWallet uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your barcode data across your Apple devices. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Apple Wallet

When you choose to add a barcode to Apple Wallet, your barcode value and card name are sent to our secure signing server to generate a valid .pkpass file. This data is used solely to create the pass and is not stored or logged on our servers.

Advertising

BarcodeWallet displays ads powered by Google AdMob for users on the free tier. Google AdMob may collect certain device information and identifiers to serve relevant ads in accordance with your device's ad tracking settings.

You can limit ad tracking in your iPhone's Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In-App Purchases

BarcodeWallet offers in-app purchases managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. Purchase and subscription data is handled by Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We do not have access to your payment information.

Local Notifications

BarcodeWallet uses local notifications to alert you when a coupon is approaching its expiration date. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and no notification data is sent to our servers.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your barcode data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account. You can delete any barcode at any time within the app. Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data. To remove data from iCloud, you can manage your iCloud storage in your device Settings.

Children's Privacy

BarcodeWallet is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
